Is Bing a wise Investment by Microsoft?

Bing is the latest web search engine from Microsoft. Formerly known as the Live Search, Windows Live Search, and MSN Search, Microsoft has revamped it to challenge Google. Unveiled by Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer on May 28, 2009 at the All Things Digital conference in San Diego, Bing seems to be a replacement for Live Search. While Google is gradually entering into the Operating systems business, now it’s the turn of Microsoft to enter into the fortress of Google. The Bing claims to have a superior search technology, the technology that became part of Microsoft due to the acquisition of ‘Powerset’.
